A Place to Eat and Drink
in Boston’s Kenmore Square!
Pescador is an entirely new concept from Blue Ribbon Restaurants that is primarily inspired by our many different travels and adventures around the world, especially in the coastal regions of Spain, Mexico, Argentina, and others.
Fishing had always been a big part of our childhood – summer trips with Dad to northern Ontario or the Hudson Bay in Manitoba, and from those experiences, we developed a knowledge of different types of fish and an enormous passion for creating a wide range of seafood dishes.
These culinary aspirations are all brought to life at Pescador, and along with that, one of our other priorities has been developing an extensive and exciting beverage program focused on a diverse selection of premium agave, mezcal, and tequila.
Combine all of that with a beautiful, festive atmosphere, and our own appreciation for having a really great time, and we feel Pescador will truly bring something new and unexpected to the Kenmore community and the city of Boston at large.
Our longtime partners at Guzy Architects worked with us on bringing this new vision to life; it’s designed around the concept of a large, open, communal space where people can mingle, have a great time, and both feel and feed the vibrant energy of the room. It’s about celebrating life, food and drink, and the people we’re with here.
The menu includes starters like “Golden Beets with Turmeric Cream & Trout Roe”, as well as aguachiles, ceviche, crudo, paella, and pizza, and signature dishes from our wood-fired grill like
“Spanish Octopus” with Adobo Aioli, Salsa Verde & Roast Tomato and “Pork Ribs Al Pastor” with Pineapple Vinegar.
Save a little room for dessert, too – we’re proud of all of our sweet creations, including the “Tres Leches Roulade” with Toasted Coconut and “Mexican Chocolate Pudding” with Pepita Brittle & Whipped Cream”.
Pescador’s distinct beverage program features over 70 mezcals and tequilas from Mexico’s most celebrated producers, along with a variety of wine, beer, and cocktails. Guests can even build their own custom-made Paloma!
There is an 18-seat ceviche bar, communal tables, cozy banquets, and a 30-foot cocktail bar. The space also features a massive amount of natural light through a bank of windows facing north and east, and at night,
Pescador will come to life showered in lights from the high, vaulted ceilings that bathe the space in hues of pink and orange, evoking a warm, tropical sunset!
We understand that residents are looking for something fun, cool, and unique to fill this particular space. We’ve come to know that people here love to get together and party, have an appreciation for great seafood from a wide range of influences, and are looking for places that offer a strong sense of community and belonging.
Combine that with the really incredible things that are happening in this neighborhood, from Fenway Park to MGM Music Hall, and we feel it is the ideal location for Pescador, and that we can be a part of something very special as the area grows.
Kenmore Square is such a vibrant neighborhood in an amazing town (there’s really no place like Boston), and it is the perfect location to open this concept – something that’s entirely new and tremendously exciting for the Blue Ribbon family and for the people of Boston!
