I n the bustling Kenmore Square neighborhood of Boston, Pescador’s Chefs Dan Bazzinotti and Keith Pooler host the “Ceviche Bar Takeover”, an exciting, monthly guest chef series featuring a multi-course, international menu of crudo, ceviche, and more!

The series also includes optional beverage pairings, featuring tequilas and mezcals from Mexico’s most prominent producers, as well as cocktails and other selections from Pescador’s unparalleled list. A la carte beverages are also available.

In addition to featuring the work of Pescador’s own chefs, each month the “Ceviche Bar Takeover” features guest chefs from the Boston area’s most celebrated restaurants, who lend their own unique style, personality, and inspiration to the experience, interacting with guests and keeping it lively and spontaneous.
The monthly series has proven to be a fun, engaging experience for guests, and a unique celebration of Boston’s vibrant culinary scene.

Recent “Ceviche Bar Takeover” events have featured such acclaimed chefs as Daniel Gursha of Ledger, and James Beard Award-winning Chef Jamie Bissonnette of Coppa, Toro, and Little Donkey.

About Pescador
Located in the heart of Boston’s Kenmore Square, Pescador is a “Coastal Grill” featuring fresh seafood caught in local, New England waters, and is inspired by a variety of international coastal cuisines, from Andalusia to Argentina. The lively restaurant features an 18-seat Ceviche Bar, 30-ft Cocktail Bar, booths and communal tables, making this an ideal location for either an intimate dinner or a celebration with a large group! It is an entirely new concept from Chefs Bruce and Eric Bromberg and the Blue Ribbon team.
Chef Dan Bazzinotti of Pescador
Growing up north of Boston in Lawrence MA, Chef Bazzinotti developed an interest in cooking at a young age. Food played a major role in his life; his family members would all prepare meatballs, calzones, lasagna and desserts, and this environment is what created the initial spark for his love of food and is the fuel for his creativity.
His culinary career includes Eataly, Terra, and Lydia Shire’s Scampo, all in Boston, Bergamot in Somerville, and Bisq in Cambridge. Chef Bazzinotti’s path has now taken him to Boston’s Kenmore Square, where he helm’s the kitchens at Blue Ribbon Sushi and Pescador, along with his former mentor Keith Pooler.
Chef Keith Pooler of Pescador
Chef Pooler believes that food is life and life is food. After attending the Culinary Institute of America, he spent his early years in New York City, honing his skills while working with top chefs there. He then moved to Boston and was recruited by Harvest, a Cambridge restaurant known for producing some of Boston’s best culinary talent.
Chef Pooler later joined forces with Lydia Shire to open Scampo in the Liberty Hotel before striking out on his own and opening Bergamot in Somerville MA. He is now part of the Blue Ribbon Team in Boston’s Kenmore Square, and runs the kitchens at Blue Ribbon Sushi and Pescador with Chef Dan Bazzinotti.
